Day 2 - Balloons & Santa Fe

Today we wake up early and head to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Enjoy breakfast at your leisure at the Gondola Club, amidst the festive atmosphere of the Fiesta.

The morning at the Balloon Fiesta is a tapestry of vibrant events. Witness the mesmerizing drone show, the dawn patrol, and the morning glow. As dawn turns into day, you’ll see the fire of the hot air balloons illuminating the park and ascending into the sky. As the park is lit by the sunlight, we experience the grandeur of the opening ceremonies and the breathtaking mass ascension of balloons, where hundreds of balloons float up into the sky. The designs are endless from beautifully designed traditional looking hot air balloons to cutesy characters. It’s hard to pick a favorite! Explore the chainsaw exhibit, browse through various vendors and shops, and visit the Museum of Flight, each offering unique insights and experiences.

In the afternoon, the tour shifts to the historic and culturally rich Santa Fe. Here, you’ll have some independent time for lunch and exploration. Discover the charm of this renowned artistic hub on your own.

Later in the afternoon, we’ll gather for a visit to one of the areas many museums. The evening brings us back to our hotel in Albuquerque, where you can unwind with an independent dinner.

Day 3 - Balloon Fiesta & Albuquerque

Begin with breakfast at the hotel, energizing us for a day rich in cultural exploration. Our morning is dedicated to visiting the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, a vibrant hub showcasing the history and art of the local Pueblo people. This immersive experience offers a deep dive into the indigenous heritage of New Mexico.

Post our cultural immersion, we’ll indulge in a delightful lunch at El Pinto Restaurant, renowned for its authentic New Mexican cuisine and a popular spot among locals. Here, the flavors of the region come to life in a charming, rustic setting.

The afternoon allows for some independent relaxation time back at the hotel, giving everyone a chance to refresh and recharge. Later, we’ll re-energize with a visit to the Anderson Abruzzo International Balloon Museum. This visit offers a fascinating look into the world of hot air ballooning, setting the stage for the evening’s main event.

As dusk falls, we’ll experience the magical Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. The evening is packed with awe-inspiring activities, including skydiving demonstrations, the mesmerizing evening glow of balloons, a spectacular drone show, and concluding with a dazzling fireworks display.

Dinner at the Gondola Club at you leisure, allowing you to savor the food and the festivities at your own pace. After a night filled with wonder, we’ll return to the hotel.
